September 12th, 2005 - LeKeith dropped out of grad school, bought a one-way plane ticket and moved to New York City with nothing but two bags of clothes, $400 and a vision.
No apartment. No job.
Fast forward to present day, LeKeith is a New York-based marketing strategist, creative director and entrepreneur with a portfolio of business ventures recently launched. He shaped his career in marketing by connecting the dots and spearheading marketing, branding and communication projects for global brands such as Nike Sportswear, Nike Basketball, Levi's, Sprite, the NBA, Converse and EA Sports among others.
Most recently, Lekeith helped establish the brand marketing and creative presence for MetLife's new $400M dollar stadium partnership with the New York Jets and New York Giants - where he managed the creative direction and content strategy for MetLife's online and offline promotional efforts.
Prior to MetLife, LeKeith handled operations and strategy for the Nike iD Custom Lab - an exclusive apparel customization experience located in NYC's Soho neighborhood. The Nike iD Custom Lab has since closed and transitioned to Nike Stadium, an NYC energy space.
LeKeith got his start in marketing as a coordinator for SPC Marketing on the campus of Southern Illinois University where he drove the promotional efforts of on-campus entertainment across 6 categories - Film, Comedy, Concerts, Lectures, Visual Arts and Special Events

LEKEITH LOVES:
Marketing, design, hats, eureka moments, random Barnes and Noble visits, basketball, cool notebooks and stationery, dinner parties, photography, Chuck Taylors, well-designed hotel rooms, cupcakes, watches and international travel.
LeKeith holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale where he excelled as a Division-1 student athlete and member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. In his spare time LeKeith lends his time to non-profit organizations, entrepreneurs and small businesses as an advisor and consultant.
